Thanks for a great plugin. I found the manual in the default location:C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TvWishList but the above link not working......
Am I confused or is the link mentioned above (first page of this thread) not pointing to the pdf anymore but to the wiki? Does the documentation wiki need to be updated?

Doesn't appear to be fully compatible with 1.7.1 Hotfix - am unable to manually set recordings with the plugin enabled in Mediaportal Configuration.

Yea it does not seem to work with hotfix 1.7.1.

I am able to set a new search in MP but it always returns 0 set recordings, only conflicts.
When I set a recording in the TV Server plugin I select a channel group but I can't select a specific channel, the channel list for that group is empty.

Attached is a log with a search set to look for a show with the word "inkasso" on the channel DMAX, in the plugin it returns 0 recordings only conflicts. It should come up with numerous recordings for the show "Inkasso Airlines"

I did install MP 1.7.1 and could not find any issues with TvWishList.

FantomFan, manual recordings did work for me fine. I did schedule from the program and setting up a manual time. In your log file everything looks as expected. can you repeat to schedule with and without TvWishlist plugin enabled and also post the MediaPortal.log file after you tried a manual recording?

blub, in your case I would need the file TvWishList.log on the tvserver directory instead of TvWishListMP.log. This should give an indication why it was not scheduled.

OK here is the log.

It deleted all logs and started a search, it did not return any results for the conditions of the newly added tv show I mentioned above.
The older TV searches which I did enter with MP 1.6 do works just fine.
