Hi there !

first of all thanks so much for your work, doing this plugin it seems you read into my mind

I read all the thread and the pdf and i guess i did not understand two things :

- There is "partial text" or "partial title" method. I wanted to be sure what this mean : title is the title of the show (obvious), but text ? Is this the description we have on epg ?
- i do not undertand what "record type" is. I can understand the difference between "all" and "one" but not between "movie" and "episode", can someody explain to me ?

Hi cehes,
partial text refers to the description of the epg. If the record type is set to one or all episodes, the movie will be stored in a separate folder with the title of the episode. In case of a movie the movie.ts will be stored in the recording folder without a subfolder. Also advanced recording options like keep number of episodes will be applied only to episodes and not to movies.
I will be looking into the "overlapping record problem" after i have done my next update on backupsettings.

And double thanks as i see "backupsettings", i do not know what's that, i search... and i find a kind of miracle software ! You should have somethings like "MePo useful plugins gold medal"
But i have a question about it... i'll post it there not here

EDIT :

another question please : is there a way to tell mytvwishlist to use entire word, i'll try to explain : I'd like all movies talking about "mars" : eg "missions to mars", "travel to mars", and so on (see my avatar you'll understand i like mars ). Then i enter "mars" as keyword and choose "partial title", right.

But then when there is a cartoon called "marsupilami" it is recorded as mars is included in it ? Then i'd like to tell the plugin to search only for the entire word "mars", can i do that ?

glad you like it. There is an exclusion option, so you can search partial title with "mars" and exclude "marsupilami". hope this works for you.

Sure i tried it and it works great, but then i had to exclude many other words that incudes "mars", and i had to delete some schedule. Having an options for "entire word" could help here.

Be aware that this is only fine tuning and your plugin is really good "as is"

Email doesn't work, but Test Mail works fine

Hi,

I do not get Emails on found movies. The found column although does say there are a lot. Test Email works fine too now. If I set on Action "Both" recording works fine as well. I have set it up for Email every week day.
So what am I doing wrong.


I didn't find anything in the forum so I am asking here. Help says I should include the Verbose Debug file. But I cannot find it and it doesn't seem anybody else is adding it.

I am out this week, but will contact you after i am back. There is a "verbose" option, which will generate more info about the plugin in the Tv server log file tv.log.

Hi,
I don't know what I did. But yesterday I received a first E-Mail.

So looks fine. Altough some data look a bit strange. Email from Sep 6th. is showing schedules from beginning of August. Don't think this old EPGs are even still stored anywhere. But I will have a closer look.

What a fantastic tool this is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

after solving a few small issues. Or better after I understood it, this tool is now working just fine.
And it is FAAAANTASTIC! I don't miss any movie anymore without any need to check myself. It is just e-mailing it to me.

If you think about working on it, a wish would be to integrate it into the MP screens. It would help the not so tec oriented people in our community. But that is just a minor thing.

I know that many people would like to see a MP integration of this plugin, but this is beyond the scope of time i have available. If someone would be interested in writing such a plugin please send me a private message and i can help.
The current plan on my 1.1 plugin version is:
- problems with changing epg data if start time or end time slightly changes

depending on how easy it is to implement I will be looking into
- complete word match
- Tvwishlist optionto to search only for schedules which to start recording after a specified time and to end recording before a specified time

Someone sent me a private message on modifieng the email text for found Tv wishes. Please post again as i do not have it anymore.

easywatcher, it would be nice if you could describe with which part of the plugin you had problems and how you fixed them. Which part was not described understandable?
