I've just installed the tv server and the latest version of the plugin. I know you don't want to hear this, but it works fine for me!

Are you sure your external channels are set up correctly and attributed to the right tv card, and the right tv card is set up in the plugin config? I know you don't want to hear that, but I can't think of what might be causing the problem for you.

I have it blasting for me, in the plugin and in manual control. I'm just trying to get it to work with the mediaportal client now, but I've never been able to get the client to work on my LAN ... could be because I nLite'd my XP install on my HTPC ...

I'll keep tinkering and if I find anything that might help you I'll post back. but I'd ask that you try as well.

Yes it really did help me. So the problem had to be on my computer. I tried all, but nothing worked. Finally I deleted the TVServer-database after I had exported all channels. Restarted Server and imported the channels again. That solved it. Now everything works fine.

This should address the problem of some STB's failing to change channel since I introduced adjustable blaster speeds. There is a new "None" setting for blaster speed, so give that a try.

If the blaster has been utilized with a speed set and the speed is then set back to None it will continue to operate at the previous speed until the unit is power cycled. IE. Until you unplug and re-plug in the MCE IR box, or the pc is rebooted.

If this change has the desired effect of improving STB compatibility then I will definitely release this version of the plugin to the download section of the site.

Should be able to. I'll recompiled it and updated the copy at the start of this thread, so give it another try. If it's working then I'll upload it to the download section of the web site for all to try.

I am still working on USBUIRT support, it has taken a little longer than I anticipated though.

I have it in and basically working. But I need to clean it up before I let anyone use it.

I'm still thinking about how to make it work properly without making massive changes to the existing code.

There will be a new thread in the MCE Replacement Plugin sub-forum when I have something for USBUIRT people.

I have it in and basically working. But I need to clean it up before I let anyone use it.

Great I can't wait, I am currently unable to use the TV server engine (no good if I can't change the channels), but with this it would be AWESOME!

I am having problems with the MCE replacement blaster with TV3 server...

With the MCE replacement plugin in MP (ie non-server) I can learn commands (really flakey, but eventually it worked) and I can blast to my satellite STB.

The config dialog is different for the TV3 version of the blaster however... How do I learn channels with the TV3 version? Is there a way I can transfer my settings from the MCE replacement plugin to the TV server blaster (I tried copy the .xml file and copying the directory containing the ir commands but it did not work).

I am sure I have disabled the blaster in TV3 and am only using the tv3 mce blaster...

Latest SVC (03-14-2007--21-13h--Rev13413).
