[confirm] tvservice dying very often (1 Viewer)

I have been testing alot now .. Havn't had a crash since installing this library, however for each time I start mediaportal again it adds 1,5sec before tuning channel on first tune. Other tunings is normal.

Have you test with TV.Library.interfaces.dll also replaced or you just have changed TV.Library.dll???

just to explain it more detailed:

the tvlibrary.interfaces.dll doesn't solve any issue you encounter, I removed it.
the tvlibrary.dll solves only 1 special case: the CI menu callback from Technotrend tv cards to close the display (Dingo's issue)

any other logs posted here are NOT related to my changed lib here!

oopss, thank you for the info. I will go back to the original dll.

It looks like my setup is running ok'ish now. been testing for a while. What exactly is going on here? is my hardware beginnign to malfunction? or is it a driver issue? Anyhow it is great to be able to se tv again with mp rc 1 Thanks !

No, your logs show nothing related to the TT CI menu fix.

2 suspects:
- DVB EPG grabber (idle+timeshift)
- network connection issues (do you use WLAN?)

Thanks for the fix morpheus_xx. I have a multiseat setup with Technotrend cards and a CI module and would like to use this fix prior to the RC2 release if possible. Just to confirm, do I just download the tvlibrary.dll which you posted earlier, and use it on the tv server?

it is already commited to svn, so it will be inside RC2.

if you don't compile yourself you can meanwhile use the attached tvlibrary from this thread and put it into tvserver folder
