I could do with some help adding support for my Twinhan card which does not show in the capture cards drop down. Earlier in this post is attached a Graphedit file I've made. I Can't quite work out exactly what content to put in the CaptureCards.XML file when I compare posts and the content already there for my Hauppauge card. Has the syntax changed from 2.30 to that of earlier releases of MP?

Yes I have it working on MP TVE3. Strangely I had standalone MP working after creating a Graph for it, now after reinstalling from the ground up I can't get it going but can't find the detection logs in rc3. They used to be in a subfolder called /logs but this is not there it seems in this release hence I installed TVE3 and its working ok.

Sweet thanks for that. I'm looking to move to a PCIe system soon and most only have 2 or 3 PCI slots and I have 4 tuners!

I don't think that it is clear that you need to upgrade . I used WMC for six years, and have been using MP1 for another six years. I migrated from WMC to MP because it offered more of what I wanted, and less of what I didn't want. But if you are comfortable with WMC, the obvious choice is to stay with WMC on Windows 7. The...

Nice find there Mr Henry. Wish I had that guide when I stumbled through the driver nightmare that is this device. Attached my copy of the driver zip in case the external web version disappears one day. There is also the option in Device Manager to roll back the automatically installed Microsoft driver (2009/2010) to the working...

It will be dependent on the channel's frequency. Off the top of my head I think it's lower frequencies that are more susceptible as they are closer to the frequency of the usual sources of environmental interference. Of course it could just be that the firetv has a better quality tuner in it [emoji6]

OK, this is specifically for people in Belgium (Vlaanderen) who are using Telenet Cable with MediaPortal 2. Next year (Edit: this year, in march 2020) the Telenet provider will stop broadcasting Analog TV and Radio signals on their cable, and make the switch to Digital (DVB-C). The radio signals will disappear completely, so you'll...
