Hello!

Can anyone share information on how to get the Twinhan IR remote to work within MediaPortal?
Is HIP the correct way to go here?

Thanks,
Peter

Hello Trannel,

HIP might be possible. It is written having a TwinHan remote in mind, but i'm not familiar with it.

I'm using a special "keymap.xml" and a short C# - program. You can find both in the forum, done by others.

I only changed the keymap.xml for my needs in one button, the "teletext" button, which I use for switching display ratios (zoom, stretch, pan/scan, ...).
Since 6 moths now the whole familiy is using MP and exclusively with the TwinHan remote.

The small C#-program is used to start MediaPortal with the "power"-button on the remote, works fine...

If you cannot find it, send me an email.

Regards

I looked trough the forums and found MPTray. Is this the c# program that was mentioned in the last post? HOwever i have had bad luck in finding a suitable keymap.xls file.

eku60, could you help me and point it out? Anyone else also ocf. :)

Thanks,
Peter

I think therein lies my problem. I am on 1.6.2.0. So thanks both for your help, I will pause this thread for now and come back to it while I work out what to do next. The problem is we have a family member who relies on MiniDisplay and I don't know if upgrading the set up is going to spoil compatibility with that plug in. The set up...

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1
