Unable to get tv server working within MP (2 Viewers)

went through the mp test tool i figure that should create all the info needed.

first attachment didn't contain graphs, re-upped.

I have started a thread about exactly the same problem with the same setup so I think it's better to join this thread.

I don't think its a codec problem because sometimes i do get a picture and it's perfectly ok.

For extra info i have attached my logfiles. In the test session for these logfiles i did get a picture but response in MP was very bad (slow) :confused:

    It really looks like you don't have an h.264 codec installed. You can get 1 by installing cyberlink Powerdvd (7?) (I'm not sure which (trial?) version you need to download, can anyone suggest?).

    What are you trying to watch is it HD or normal mpeg2?

    The last time it worked was with HD but it also worked once with normal mpeg2

    I use CoreAVC for H.264 it works perfectly and is free:D

    There are codec packs out there that will download and install various codecs that you actually should purchase for use, please do not point or link to these, and this is going off topic for the original poster.

    just install FFDSHOW .. it is also opensource and can decode h264 aswell ..

    make sure you choose decode h264 and mpg2 with ffdshow.. and everything should work fine!

    almost forgot. go to mediaportal options.. and make sure FFDSHOW is decoding mpg2 and h264 after you installed it.
