GitHub seems to have some availability problems lately. You can find the service and WebMediaPortal in the extension repository on the homepage too.

EDIT: Actually seems to have been a problem with DNS configuration. Fixed now.

Before i ask, please excuse any misunderstanding i may have about how things work in this plugin. i have a few linux computers and it would be nice if i could use them to view the content on mediaportal. now i know that there will never be a linux client, and i know i can watch the streams on linux anyways. what my question is....is there any way to create a "Playlist" containing all the stream channels, so that vlc or similar could be used as a client? My uneducated mind feels like its not that far from whats already there, so i would think it would not be too difficult to do this. is there any way i can do this? is there any help i could offer for someone else to do this?
Forgive me if this is off-topic (not related to this plugin), but IIRC you can use XBMC under Linux as a client for MediaPortal TV Server.
    Take a look at this.

call me stupid but i need some noob help.
i just set up my first htpc ever with mediaportal.
Everything is working right except 1 thing, i can't access my media on my synology nas through MPExtended.. The TV- server stream works like a charm to ampdroid. but in the mpweb everything (movies,tv-series) is "Inaccessible"
Exactly what username/passwork am i supposed to write into the "Configuration tab" in MPextended ?
Is it the username/password to my NAS that i used to map the networkdrives to my computer or is it login/password of a user on this computer?
I've tried creating a user called "mediaportal" password "mediaportal" and put that in the configuration tab and when i TEST it says successful, but i still cant stream the mediacontent cause its Inaccessible..
Also tried login to that user at map the same drives on that user but still no luck..
Apparently im doing it wrong, What is the right way? :)

    sorry for wall of text.
ty for awsome plugin, keep up the good work.

When picking library locations in Mediaportal Configuration (for TVSeries, Moving Pictures, etc), don't browse to the mapped drive; instead browse to folder locations through the "network" path. That worked for me.

Yeah, ty. I did that, but i had to do 1 more step to get it to work. Had to go into Services.msc and start the mpextended service with the user i created. Gr8 plugin..

I like to have the SeriesFanart available in WebMP, which should be available according to this file on GitHub, but SeriesFanart never returns an image to me.
Is this a bug or is this not yet available in v0.5.3?

Works for me without any problem.
