It should be faster after the first few requests.

Yes, that's a good idea. It's not implemented in MPExtended at the moment, but it shouldn't be too hard. I think we've actually planned it for 0.6. Meanwhile, if you've some development experience you can implement it yourself (it shouldn't be too hard), or you can create the playlist file manually. If you download the playlist file for a few channels, concatenate them together and make the continuationId parameter the same for each link (doesn't matter which value), I think it should work out-of-the-box.

So...i am definitely not a developer, but i am a little familiar with how m3u playlists work. how can i get everything in one playlist short of downloading every m3u link and adding it to the rest? over 1100 movies and more then 6K episodes...i'll die before i finish! i am sure you told me something that i did not understand, perhaps you could point it out for me? thanks a lot for the help.

Uh yeah, that's quite a tedious task. Somehow I thought you were talking about only TV channels. I'm afraid there's no way to do that automatically yet.

    Hi Oxan,
I was having issues with playing music using webmp and so I changed the directory in MP Config from the mapped drive to the actual smb address. Now eventhough I have MPextended pointed to the proper db location for music, when I got to Webmp and then music all I see is "Your Artists" with nothing else. All the music shows up properly in Mediaportal though. Any thoughts?

Putting the databases on a network drive isn't supported yet without running the service as a different user. You'll have to run the service as a different user (see the wiki for details).

The media itself is on a network drive but the databases themselves are on the local drive. I followed your instructions anyways and it seems to have fixed it. Thank you very much.
