Seems strange that this is caused by Win8. There's nothing obvious in your logs, but I'll take a deeper look later on. Deleting recordings is indeed a 0.6 feature (one I'm currently working on; actually).

This is so cool! I have one question is there the capability for it to keep track of what I have watched and pick up where I left off, if I have to leave a move or show and come back at a later time?​

I have MePo running server and client on the same machine. I installed the latest mpextended and webmediaportal but when I try to play a recording I get this (see attachment). I am also attaching my 'settings' page. Full blown tv client on a remote machine connecting to the tv server over LAN works fine.

hi, first of all, incredible plugin.
So the problem, I can't get direct streaming. Under flash is working but although with a high CPU use in my server.
The log seems good when the streaming starts but the screen doesnt show any image, only the vlc screensaver with the red cone. All this happens in local lan

I tried with 2.0.2 and 2.0.8, none works. I have a dreambox 500hd working with vlc under webcontrol in my pc doing streaming in lan without any problem, neither hd channels nor sd.

Which codecs are using vlc? maybe is a codec's merit cuestion?

VLC codecs are embedded inside app, they're not dshow codecs, so no merits here... Just saying.

And is funny because I have installed bitmeter and it's telling me that the info is leaving the server to the other computer but there nothing happens.

I did re-install but nothing. When I try to run the movie in external vlc, the awnser is this:
