The easiest way is to just drag n drop the image file on to the relevant image panel in the config screen and click apply.

Here are all the image file names though, the files can also have extension .png

AW: (Supported Release) *UPDATED 18-9-2011* Yet another new version :)

    Hi,

got succesfully created links to my PC games inside EmulatorX (actual version).
Sometimes (rare) it doesn't return correctly to MePo at game ending. Because MePo was closed.
Other: I have Street Fighter IV (boxed version). Starting the game in conventional ways is no problem.
Only in EmulatorX it does nothing. Starting the game will cause switching the screen fast, as it would start the game.
And returns immediately. Not a window priority thing.

Not sure about MP not returning sometimes, does it only happen with a specific game? With Street Fighter are you sure you have configured the correct exe to launch the game? Check that it's the same as where the shortcut for the game on your desktop/start menu is pointing.

    Hi all!

Hopefully someone is able to help me with this strange problem. I run three emulators: NES, SNES and Nintendo 64.

NES and SNES Roms are found well from the importer and imported to DB. But the Roms of Nintendo 64 are not found form importer at all. I have *.* as search string, the dirctory is 100% ok, but nothing.

Can you tell me where to start debugging?

    Thx a million!

    Mario

    Hi spenca,

please delete the n64 emulatorentry in list und start new. make sure, that it is the right directory. Make sure that the files are listable in explorer. if you use a UNC-Path, test a local directory. Test one or two roms from the directory in a seperate directory. Use as search string .n64 .v64 .z64 .rom - Now try it again.

Make sure that after your entry you must click save und then apply. Then refreshing the database again.

    hello,

today i downloaded the myemulator plugin for MP 1.2.1 and there is the first problem.
my system thumbnails are not shown. i already read the faq articel in the plugin but it wouldn't help.

i'm using windows 7 and i used the following path for my thumbs:
    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\myEmulators\emulators

in this path there are 2 folders (PC, Super Nintendo). in the faq is written that the filename must be the same like the emu. so i created following files:
    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\myEmulators\emulators\PC\PC.png
    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\myEmulators\emulators\Super Nintendo\Super Nintendo.png

when i'm starting MP there are no system thumbnails shown!

    what is my mistake?

    regards

    Hi

You have the right path to the files. You only have to rename your .png files to Logo.png and you should see the thumbnails

    @weaselasf
you can drag and drop your pictures directly on the logo and fanart-box in the emulator-configuration. The plugin rename and position the files at the right place.

now I have added my logos and both ways works really good. myemulator looks nice yet, but it would be perfect if I add fanart for my devices and games.

do you have good sites for such fanarts? where do you get it?

    regards

just use the searchengine from myemulators. i have this options in my plugin
go to gamedatabase --> database options
make sure that this have a option-point
    1. Automatically refresh games
    2. autmoatically import game info
    3. Approve top result when better match not found
    4. Resize box art based an plattform

when you start the plugin inside mediaportal he load automatically all box-art from all games.

Back to plugin in configuration game-database

every game have a "O" behind the name. Klick on in to open the search engine. You can use one of the finding pic's as fanart.

a spacial site for Games fanart - i dont know.

when you use the automatically search you must use the right name for your emulator - it is static by the search engine. for example

    This are false names:
    Gameboy
    Super NES
    N64

    This a right names:
    Game Boy
    Game Boy Color
    Game Boy Advanced
    Nintendo 64
    SNES
