strange pixels and a lot of lit icons. The icons are also alternating and blinking in between.

This issue has been covered before..... Enable "Limit EQ display update rate"...

Cybrmage, that didn't work either.
I get this weird error in the log:
2007-11-14 21:08:56.140625 [Info.][MPMain]: ExternalDisplay: DriverLINX Port I/O Driver (needed for the choosen display type) not detected. Plugin not started!

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood you.
Ok, so I tried the driver you said, and nothing on the display.
Although it looks quite interesting in the log.

Well I don't think this is the problem. (?)

I have tried 1, 10 and 20 updates / second but no change and I still get all kind of weird flashing icons on the display.

The display is not working at all. It's not just the equalizer.

I guess I will get back to my old install if don't get it to work. (I have learned from old mistakes not to forget to make a copy of old working installation)

    cybrmage,

can you be so kind to add a try/catch with a log of the exception in the DiskManagement->GetDisks() function ?
This will help me understand why this plugin crash.

    Thanks in advance,

    Simone

The display is not working at all. It's not just the equalizer.

Have you cycled power to the display since it "crashed"??? You MUST cycle power to the display if it crashes in this manner!

If you don't cycle the power to the display, no software (not even the SoundGraph software) will be able to drive it...

Ok... here is a version with the HT-1000 device enabled... (remember... no guarantees...)

You will need to run configure and select "SG iMON Unified Driver V11_14_2007t" as the display driver.

Initially, force the display to LCD... Do not enable any additional options and do not select "Use V3 dll"... and report what, if anything, happens...

    Attaching the log.
Got one question, is frontview required to be activated? Tried both though, but still nothing.

It doesn't matter... The driver automatically reconfigures the iMON software if it is not configured correctly...

As for the driver working with your hardware.... Your logs revealed a logic error in the display code... (It assumes that the display is always set to 2 rows... It never tries to draw the screen if it's set to 1 row)... I'm working on that... and an idea to force the iMON software to reveal how it drives your hardware.... It may take a while to work out...
