Using the Hauppauge remote with MP (4 Viewers)

I use VGA from the gfx card. My settings in MP are the standard settings after adding the card with the high quality option. Works great for me.

mama: Yeah, 'exit' - so close and yet so far

After having toyed with the irrremote.ini a bit, I found this bit quite useful

RED={run(d:\mediaportal\shutdown.bat)}

Placed in the [Default] section and with the following .bat line

shutdown -t 00 -s

Don't whether that's water under the bridge or not but since my MP computer stands in another room, I don't have to walk there to shutdown Windows.

Unfortunately, I you can't start the system with the remote...
