[ATI] WARNING: pixelation/corruption on h264 channels. (1 Viewer)

i bought an crappy hd6950, this one also have problems on mce sd or hd , live-tv stream in mce, mediaportal, dvbviewer.
Just like the old hd2600, hd3870, hd 4870.
I hate ATI.

On dvblink forum they say to use catalyst 9.8, but this one not working on that crappy 6950

11.4 gives me bluescreens on that crappy hd6950. I think i will sell this crap and buy an nvidia gtx580.
For what i see on my laptops and PC with ati, hd and sd artifacts on ati begun on Vista and Win7, on Xp all was good.

may i suggest to upgrade to 12.1, i also had problem with the late 2011 ati drivers. Gone upgrading to 12.1.

12.1 released a few days ago seems to solve all video playback problems here

I just updated my MSI windbox dc100 with ATI 6320 and e-450 chipset with latest 12.1 drivers.
MSI Global ? Desktop - Wind Box DC100

not impressed at all ...
the new CCC video settings seemed to grey out all my advanced video/color settings.

reverting back to previous drivers did nothing for me as the old CCC now also had those options greyed out .. so leftover registry mess has probably already occurred by the 12.1 drivers installation.

found some settings in the registry, but playing around with them didnt yield any positive results.
I dare not mention how long I fiddled with this.

So now I just run with whatever settings.

I've no problems with catalyst 12.1.

Did you uninstall your drivers before reinstall 12.1?

I downgraded to 11.4 first (I had some stuttering video files, but is was a codec issue) and then I upgraded to 12.1.

12.1 still gives me pixelation issues on Channel 4 HD (on Freesat). BBC1 HD, BBC HD and ITV1 HD still OK.
