I use Realtek HDMI Audio driver since some time. With the ATI HDMI Audio driver I got no sound after standby... it works with 11.x drivers I think tho.
I haven't tried the audio driver coming with 12.4.
It was broken in CCC 12.1 I think and since that time I used Realtek HDMI audio driver. Maybe they have fixed the problem. =)
I've got a little dilemma here. Tryin to play NFS - The Run, but the game is complaining about my ATI driver. I'm currently on good old 11.4 and the game requires at last 11.7 to even start.
Is there any driver that can be recommended that works with a HTPC to HD capable AVR to TV connection. Pferably one that also keeps the deinterlacing options set.
Tried it. Something's messed up bad in 12.4. My AVR has a "passthrough mode" when turned off so both video and audio is sent to my tv. With 12.4, regardless of ATI or Realtek), the audio device goes missing completely when turning the AVR on or off.
Actually that doesn't work either. I've a custom edid made by Tulli at avs and I thought that it would work but it didn't. I'll try to find a working driver when I have the time. But thanks for the help J.
