Okay, then my question is, when is my deadline? Unfortunately I'm very busy till 31st this month and so won't work on it this month (probably). I think I can do all the work I have to do on 1 and 2 february.

Well we wil have to go by the honor system. If you tell me you wont work on it (much, if at all) until Feb, then I can say you would have the full time as everyone else, sure.

Cool. Thanks! I will only do some minor things and doing these things will take only a few hours, so I think there is just one day I will work on it and then I submit the skin.
And there I is a minor chance I will do a new skin :) Brings me another question. How about submitting more then one skin?

    More than one skin is fine.... more chances to win.... its not the person being graded but the skin =)

    But I do want to say this now..... max 2 of the basic T-shirts per person =) You can submit 10, but only 2 of them earn a free t-shirt =)

    @Dragy, are you officially joining the contest then? When I go to update the status, can i consider you as participating?

    Regurge... sry I missed you on IRC, best to use mine and/or oxan's name when you say something as it will notify us.

    As for the list.... there is not a comprehensive list yet, but you use the default skin as a comparison as to what it does. it will be the best tool you have. look how it does it, then use that call in your own skin.

    That being said... I will ask oxan where the files are that have the options you can use and write up a quick list. Should have done that yesterday, but there are files claaed WebMovieBasic and WebMovieDetailed that hold the info you are looking for, but in a very C# way. I will do a nice quick write up.

    sometimes its a kind of try and error - i tried to add the running time to the movie details and so i copied the @movie running time value to the detial section but i got an error message, than i replaced the @movie with @Model and it worked .. anyway am i allowed to copy from existing skins and modify it how i want?

    @regurge

    Does this mean you are also joining the contest?
    for the moment i take a deeper look to the code, i have some nice ideas but i dont know if i am able to code it as i want, i will let you know when i enter

    yes, please look at default, jQui, and BlueShift to learn. I basically learned by looking at the default skin and I spent a week trying out a few things in semi-psuedo-default skin that i just copied over. I then began jQui and would keep that first skin as a test bed for ideas before I applied it to jQui. Keep in mind i was BUGGING THE $H!T out of @Oxan, @Inker, @DieBagger, @RoChess and a few others. But mainly Oxan... poor fellow, I must have put him thru hell =)

    That being said keep any questions coming and I will do my best to help out along the way.

    One of the hardest things is to learn why, when and where to use a particular value/call when you are not involved in the coding of default webMP or your own dll (like jQui). It really is. Much like you asked... is it @movie, @Model, @model, sometimes it is even @Model.move or even @Model.Movie.movie (or something close.. that could be an old style no longer used).

    While skinning, hop on IRC, get used to maybe having a browser window open for it, or get HydraIRC or another client for a "real" IRC experience. Work on an area, ask a question if you hit a wall. If we are online we will help to answer and you can progress. if not, move on to another area while you wait to hear back from us. Plus, if you are able to leave HydraIRC (or whichever client you want to use) online you will get the benefit of learning from other skinners questions by scrolling back in the client =)
