I have an idea of a theme and i want to do a dummy in photoshop. Now i wonder: What size is the image so it fits in the tv (pixels and dpi)?

hi!

the best way to learn skinning for mp is to take a close look at existing skins. make a copy of on and play around with values in this xml files or browse the images in media directory.

the background graphic is 720 x 576 pixel (this ist d1-pal).

good luck!

Skins are located under "<Media Portal Directory>\Skin\<Skin name>"
The xml files are localted in that dir and images for the particular skin is under "<Media Portal Directory>\Skin\<Skin name>\Media" directory

I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...
