Could this list be a screen selectable in the site navigation??
I think by making it easier accessable, the feature requests should somehow get better...

Utopia. Developers might be "forced" to do this, but the avarage, possibly non technical user will have a hard time doing this...

Still, MP and the forum should get a nice boost if these features would be implemented :D :D

#1 DVB-S Support for Technotrend and other cards

#2 MD8 Plugin support for #1

#3 "Playing Now" window in the Music section that shows the Album cover in large format + Progress bar + title of Album, Song and Artist. A nice feature here would be to enable the Image of the album cover to change and cycle between a number of images in the respective folder for that album. That way it would be possible to show all images of hte CD booklet in sequence.

note to MrMario64: I don't care if this is in the todo.txt or elsewhere in this forum, I'm voicing my opinion so the programmers know what is important to this particular user (the whole point of this thread, I believe). Anyway...

1. Client/Server support so I can run MediaPortal on my laptop in all it's glory and use the tuner on my desktop.

2. It would be nice to have a minimal install on the server, since I for one would never use my desktop to watch tv on, only my laptop. Or at least be able to have just a background service that starts on bootup that takes care of the client requests.

3. The above two I'm really anxious to see, #3 is just a side-note - I'll add another vote to the suggestion for using a PPC as a remote.

Cybermind, Why not use the windows screensaver???
And report on what you did and how your list is built in support thread. Then we maybe can help you as the list is fast for me.

    Darkmeduse:
    1. as example:
nvidia does not support direct X in exclusive full screen:
    Taken from the driver:
    Problem
When running DirectX applications in fullscreen mode on an NVIDIA
Multiview system, the application appears on only one display instead of all
    the displays.
A Multiview system consists of a Quadro NVS series graphics card with
multiple monitors connected and multiview mode enabled.
    • Explanation
The problem occurs only with DirectX /Direct3D applications that use fullscreen
exclusive mode. In order to support these applications, the driver
must switch to single display mode and blank out the other displays.
In scenarios that require multiview functionality—such as when using screen
    savers—NVIDIA recommends using non-DirectX/Direct3D applications.
    2. Autoupdate is allreayd implemented but not used as of lack of a host.
