One wish. I know this is on the todo-list, but I'm really looking forward on seeing LCD-support. Being able to browse and play music without turing on my tv.

I love your (all those that contribute ) work on MediaPortal!!!

1. DVB-s with EPG
2. Auto Wake-Up for actions like record etc.
3. Import / Export (rip/burn) for DVDs and CDs

• 1. Better Zoom Player support like implementing the Queue command.
  
  2. Having different commandline actions for each file type like in myhtpc. For example *.mpg should launch zplayer.exe with a 4:3 Aspect ratio, but on avi it should use derived Aspect ratio.
  
  3. The installer should automaticly realize, that MP is installed and update it instead of uninstalling and reinstalling to the new version. I had to redo all my settings again after an update.

If the internal Media Player would support multiple languages and the DVD support would run smoother I might concider using it, but right now I'm extremely happy with Zoom Player and since I paid 20 bucks there is no reason to change right now.

1. Support for a front-end / back-end approach so you can have one beefed up machine running the Backend for MediaPortal and more meager machines running the front end, allowing multiple systems for a cheaper price

2. Widely Customizable for people who want everything and the kitchen sink, or people who just want a media pc to play music in there kitchen.

3. Music DB with some auto-dj ability + the ability to access and play music off of a docked Ipod.

1. Zap-2-It support. Am I the only person using this in the united states?!
2. Wake up on record support would be nice for power saving (not to mention 'damn that fan is loud' saving) modes.
3. Play all my media files that dont play correctly in anything but Windows Media Player and I have no idea why *cry*

Zap2it DataDirect is already supported by xmltv tv_grab_na_dd. You have to sign up at http://labs.zap2it.com/ to use it.

Regarding TV recordings automatic wake-up and shutdown is supported using the PowerScheduler plugin.

about .3

We have resume support allready and you could use the ffdshow codec.
VLC and mpclassic both use afaik the ffmpeg code.
FFDSHOW is also based on this but makes it available to all dshow players.
You should have the same quality then as it is the same codebase.
