Yes, got a new reinstalled shuttle with media portal on, now i need some codecs. Which codecs should i download to not get that "little laggy" picture on xvid/svcd/dvdr movies?

Do not understand phrase using wmp classic, because that has just about every codec in it already, but will not integrate with MP.

Codecs Divx5.2 (the Stablist) Xvid and your own choice of DVD.
The last one cannot make mind up on as have windvd7 and powerdvd6.
Again will advise against codec packs for stability reasons.

hum, it's wierd becuase i have tried alot of codec packs etc etc.

after i have installed media portal, what exacly do i need to install to get the best playback on my xvid/svcd's without lag!

This is the xvid decoder i use and touch wood never had a complaint.
Full install and uninstall compliant so if you do not like, uninstall.
