i will try this plugin but i dont know which device is correct....

i use this tool here:
Infrarot-Empfnger mit Einschalter

it is connect with my com-port on my htpc.

is it possible to use IRSS with a serial ir-receiver and a harmony remote?

need i only IRSS, or need i also other tools like winlirc or girder (igor) ?

ok, it seems that IRSS dont run with serial ir-receiver

perhaps you can add this "device".
I must then continue to torment with girder and WinLIRC
