Agreed. I still find Maya the best, the cleanest an the most beautiful designed skin for MediaPortal
Unfortunately it looks like it's been abandoned by the developer. I have not seen any updates for over a year. Personally I've moved to Titanius since MP1.6 but if Maya is ever brought back to life I will immediately make it my default skin again!
Please please please make Maya compatible with 1.7 and 1.8

I have wanted to create a skin for MePo for years, but lack of free time due to other time demanding creative output (i.e. hobbies) I have not gotten past creating mockups of my skin ideas for when I could have time in the future. It may seem strange, but the open-source license allows anyone to sell physical CDs or DVDs to customers, provided that, for example, the source code is made available upon request and additional value is provided, such as an installation manual. Both of these are mentioned in the product description, so it appears to be legitimate...

Yes, I saw that. Was beyond my understanding, however. Didn't see how to set that up. I'm a relative neophyte, who's done hardly any command-line coding.
To be more specific: I don't see, under either "Grabbing Listings" or in the "First use example," where it is designated just where on one's C drive the tv.xml file is...

Many many years ago, I opened a bug report after I got that same message but I never got a reply. The reason was I had unchecked the Windows Media Player item in Windows 10 Control Panel > Program and Features > Turn Windows features on or off as I didn't need it, without thinking that it was needed by MediaPortal. I kept the "Media...

If you’re planning to submit a pull request, let’s go through the list of issues and their solutions.
I or someone from the team will create a Jira ticket, and for each ticket, you’ll make the changes and submit a pull request.
This will be transparent and straightforward.
