Both work for me.
V6 is slightly better if I'm being fussy. V7 has a little stutter just after starting playback.

V6 should less flicker than V7 so it would be my preference but i was not sure that V6 will works for you
So after analysing logs and V6 works for you both, i will go with this one and commit the change to a new madVR Build

@Chisum can you make a new logs based on next madVR Build ? (or with V6) but can you enable log level to debug ? (there is a bug in watchdog and debug level didn't change to debug, we need to fix that for sure, so your logs hasn't debug log line to compare with @RobNorthcott

Yes, still working fine (v6)

Here Logs V6 with debug level. This time with short flickering before start of the every video with refresh rate change, last try with v6 above was better.

Maybe debug logging has an impact ? because V6 or V451 is the same, thanks for logs will look at it
