Milkdrop 2.2 works fine within Mediaportal 1.10 RC5, but the latest Milkdrop 2.21 does not run anymore (just released in a new Winamp built a few days ago).

Delete all Milk2 Configuration File like INI and so on...
I have test it and work without any problem by me.

Do not open the winamp config under the viz tab in MP config, as soon as you do a config file is created which screws the pulse to the beat.

So you should only have in folder what is in below picture.

Thank you. That helped. Yes I had opened the winamp config within MP and that seems to screw it.

I can get AVS, Milkdrop2.2 and Sonique visualizations to play in an overlayscreen, but when I click the videowindow the visualization does not scale to fullscreen (just shows same width+height as videowindow in overlay, but rest of screen is black). With WMP visualizations I get fullscreen vizualisations. Any thoughts?

[edit]Please disregard... I tried another skin and then it does work as it should... I'll have to do a bit of troubleshooting (probably some missing xml files...

Hi,

i have milkdrop 2.21 running on MP. I use MP 1.1 final and Win 7. Milkdrop works, but not correct. It seems there is no connection to the beat. I already read this :

additional info!
remove all configuration file from Milk. which is important
and use not the configuration from Milk > 2.2
this caused any error and milk not run correctly.

that is a bug between Milkdrop > Win7 and i think in Vista to.

But when i start MP, there is a mildrop.ini created automatically.

I attached two screenshots. The correct one out of winamp, the second one out of mediaportal.

What i'm doing wrong ?

Aber nicht für eine vorherige Version
Grundsätzlich funktioniert Milk2.21 richtig.
Kann aber nicht sagen ob die Samples (für Wave und Spectrum) in MP richtig übergeben werden.
Ich habe es in meinen Player mit Milk2.21 und BassVis 2.4.1.9 getestet und kann kein problem feststellen.
Da kann nur hwahrman helfen.

I did some troubleshooting for this issue and solved it. Apparently it is one of those weird behaviours of MP's skinengine... fullscreen visualizations (Winamp and Sonique only) break whenever these (id's) aren't available in myMusicFullscreenVisualization.xml:

Weird, especially since myMusicFullscreenVisualization.xml 's functionality seems to be broken anyway (there seems to be no way to get song info on track changes working...)

Selbes Problem hier. Es ist wahrscheinlich wieder nur ne Kleinigkeit aber ich komme nicht drauf.
Ich habe mal einen Screen angehangen. Ich möchte aus MyStreamRadio heraus Milkdrop 2.21 als Fullscreen sehen, was mir aber nicht gelingt. Wenn ich es aus MyMusic heraus versuche klappt es ohne Probleme :/
Wenn ich nur die Mediaplayervis. nutze geht es ohne Probleme.
Jmd. eine Idee?
