AW: Winamp Visualisations. Finally :)

so here is a Sample for testing.

do the following

Rename the Folder preset under Milkdrop2 Folder to preset2
Create a new Folder preset und copy the File (Hexcollie + Flexi - Faceless Frog [rmx].milk) into

Copy the File VL006.mp3 in your Root of Music folder where you has store your Mediafiles.

Do test now beat only with this Visualization and the BeatLoop.
So where have all the same Files when testing with 5.1.

My Test has a big difference between 5.1 and not.
My Own Player with self bassvis version has full beat at all. Without upmix 5.1
So i think is a problem in MP not between (BassVis and MP)

greets.

Have followed your instructions (I hope) and there is a big difference when "upmix to 5.1" is ticked, I can also see this with other music files as well. Without upmix it looks like random noise, with upmix I get a circle that pulses with the beat.
    Hope this is helpful

This works great. Is there any reason why images or labels cannot be overlayed on the vizulizations?

Is this something that can be incorporated into this patch?

MP used DirectX (HDC) for Render the Window.
Winamp Plugin used a Window (HWND) with different formats

DirectX, OpenGl and draw it on a own Window.
MP has also no Handle to a Device Contex for Drawing Button or Label into

i hope you understand what i mean.

    PS:
You can not use a boat ride on a road without water
So you can compare the :)

Thanks for the info. I think i understand. Simply MP is not capable of doing this.

I did notice within milkdrop config there is an option for custom sprites and message. I wonder if it were possible on a track change have mediaportal copy the current album thumb and change a custom message in the milkdrop ini files.

Might look into it in a couple of months when i get time. May b some sort of process plugin.

I have not yet dealt with it.
If anything, then I need to provide in Bassvis.
MP can not the functions from Milkdrop2 without api from bassvis accessed

lässt sich eigentlich noch was gegen die relativ hohe cpu-auslastung machen?
wo doch winamp mit milkdrop deutlich weniger braucht.

can actually do something else against the relatively high cpu usage?
where winamp but with significantly less Milkdrop needs.

    gruss
