Windows 10 DirectX 9 trouble (1 Viewer)

Hi. I just downloaded MP But it wont install. It demands DirectX 9 to run. But windows 10 doesn't support DirectX 9.
Now what?? Can anyone plz help?

    Can you please confirm: are you attempting to install MediaPortal 1 or MediaPortal 2?

    Okay.

    I should say: Windows 10 definitely does support DirectX 9.

    I recommend you try the latest update snapshot:

    It should install the required dependencies for you.

    If you still have problems, you can always try MP1. MP2 and MP1 both have their strengths and weaknesses. In general MP1 is the more mature product where MP2 is still a bit of a work in progress. You may find that MP1 suits you better.
