Complains MS Visual C++ 2008 SP1 is not installed, yet the installer shows a green tick to say it is. I'm upgrading from 1.37.

Thank, very helpful. My download was done today from the link on Download MediaPortal for free! - MEDIAPORTAL but is the initial release MediaPortalSetup_x86_1.37.000_2025-04-14-08-37.zip. The page MediaPortal 1.37 Release - MEDIAPORTAL has a more recent link, MediaPortalSetup_x86_1.37.000_2025-05-03-18-19.zip. I've now installed...

This only applies to my .TS files, my .MKV files are OK. I believe the difference is likely to be because .MKV files embed the runtime in the file unlike .TS files. I have done...

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...
