Why did you change the tv-guide scaling? The bars are very big now, the text within the bar is only half size of the bar and not centered vertically. Because of the bigger program bars there are less channels shown in one screen.

IMO the look of tv-guide in previous version was better...

Only thing i dont like is the spinning basic home screen.. Is there any easy way to change this into a "flat menu" like the one i foofaraw? Anyways a great skin! You cant make everybody 100% happy, but i think you came damn close on this one =)

Just when I thought I would definitely stick to MCE after months of trials on meedio, Xlobby, and of course Mediaportal, now you come up with this piece of jewelry...

Damn, just when my wife finally thought I was cured from HTPC tweaking and fiddling... OK, she was not THAT happy with MCE, but at least it seemed to work...and I didn't spend any nights on it anymore...

Now what am I going to tell her ? Because, there is NO WAY I will stay with MCE after seing this amazing skin you designed. Time for tweaking ia here again ! Harley, you put my life to risk...;-)

Simply looks fantastic, and combined with the power of MediaPortal, I can only dream of what my future HTPC will look like...

Now, if EPG could work fine (one of the reasons why I left MP for MCE was multiple xmltv problems) then it would be heaven

love the skin

This skin is great, just absolutely love it. Wondering if I was missing something. On mine I cannot see the shimmer over the dvd icon boxes and the same with the movies. Anyone have any ideas. I have already tried deleting the cache folder and that didnt seem to do it.

I am running 0.2.3 RC2 SVN from 9-27.

The same dvd box "shinyness" works fine on the Foorar skin. Are you able to see it? I was just looking at the images from the mockup and it looked like they were there on that one. any ideas?

the release 1.0 will full support TV2 and TV3.

The 4:3 Version will fallow in the next step, i have beginn to work on it.

The icon down on the left is looking good. However, when playing a song i get the "tv" on top of it, but its not completely covered so it looks kinda screwed. Taking the scr shot i discovered another bug, see the small sircle. The blue bars moved into the "tv" when i paused playback. When taking this i was playing back music videos, but the same thing happens with music files.

And as mentioned above a background for the skip thingy is needed. I would love to help out with stuff, but my skills in xml is hopeless.

Another bug i found, not sure if its my setup or not? See the second attachement. Two buttons seem to slide a bit to close to each other. My current version is RC2 - svn--09-26-2007--19-43-Rev16039, however i had this bug in a earlier svn too.

first of all: FANTASTIC WORK!!!!

This skin is the absolute argument for buying a new computer LCD in 16.9 format.

Besides the other already mentioned little errors I found that the teletext display is garbled. I will send you the revised files asap.

Awesome skin, only thing I don't like is the vista style shut down button. HTPC apps are supposed to get away from computer like interfaces, and that shutdown button is un-needed imo.

how you do shut it down then from within the MP gui?

if you say "with the remote". how do you restart/hibernate it then?

Good points, but I think you can program the remote to do all these things.

Don't most people turn off their HTPC's with the remote control power switch like on the MCE remote?

I'm just thinking in terms of a normal set top box or something. You wouldn't have a power button on the main page. I dunno, do alot of people use the power icon in media portal? I like the idea of making an HTPC look like a normal device rather than a PC with a nice interface but maybe I'm on my own
