Xface Skin Version 1.6 ready for download 09.06.2008 (3 Viewers)

I don't know what might be the problem, but I experience some issues with this skin. When I browse the menus, I can browse for maybe 10-15 secondes after that the visual seem to freeze. I still can hear the sounds when I hit the buttons on my remote, and if I use the mouse, I can go on the red X and close Media Portal. But the menu doesn't respond anymore. I'm using the SVN of October 15th, but I had the same issue with RC2 and few other SVN. I'm also using the lastest version of this skin. I though it was something related to the program, but I have absolutely no problems with BlueTwo Wide and Replicant skin. I'm on Windows XP Media Center edition.

I'd really like to use this skin, but I just can't. Where should I look to debut this? What additional information you would need? Anybody else with the same issue?

Are you using Catalyst drivers? If so your ATI graphic card is causing the problem! A lot of us have had to downgrade to Catalyst 7.2 drivers!

First off Id like to say thanks for a truley amazing new skin. I installed it yesterday and have to say it looks fantastic.

I have been looking at your example screenshots, and I for the life of me cannot get movies/pictures/music icons to work. What am I doing wrong. Where do I put the icons for say a bon jovi album cover, and then it appear in my view of my music cds etc.

One thing missing;
On myRecordedTV
Toggleing "aspect ratio" and probably subs also renders no top-bar, only black text.
It works fine using blue2.

The "icons" go to Mediaportal\Thumbs\

MP will automatically populate e.g. Album thumbs if you use default settings and either your mp3 files contain coverart or there's a folder.jpg in their directory (this applies for movies as well). This will happen during the scan of your shares (Configuration.exe -> Music -> Database).

I get a little gap between the movie poster and the cover, its not big but its there. Ive read this is because the skin was designed for 1280x720.. How come the background.png and reference.xml both suggest the skin is for 1366x768 then?

Hi! Why is the search in "my music" not working? When i change to blue two skin it works correctly! So is there a solution for this problem?

i think that when you choose to have "icon" or "big icon" display in the video or picture folders the folder selected should change the text colour to black.

this is because when you selected all the icon will become white so u can no longer see the folder name.
