Great skin but it seems you haven't considered overscan while developing this skin.
A minimum of 5% of the screen's outer area should be left empty because it's not visible for most TV users. Most modern Flat TVs do also overscan by default.
Hello Harley, and thanks for this amazing skin. It will fit perfectly in my new apartment, not as a superb MediaCenter but also as a nice decoration as furniture goes! Looks sweet coming home to that screen!
However, I'm discovering problems with covers in all.. I'm probably just stupid but please clear things up for me:
Take that as an example, in my MUSIC list for D:\MP3\ (showing with filmstrip ofcourse) it's not showing Black Eyed Peas COVER, in my opinion, you should implement something collecting an "Artist Default Cover", so when I browse my MP3 folder, I see the artists as cover art, not folders.
Same thing goes for Movies, I think it's the _- things messing?
28.Weeks.Later.PAL.DVDR-SVENNE
Looking at my DVD-R folder, it's just a blank folder-icon, and not the cover art for 28 Weeks Later.
Please explain to me how this works as I'd like covers for everything! Looks neat as hell with your skin.
You can select an album/movie and bring up the context menu and select the grab cover art/imdb option (depending on whats selected) and it will get the cover for you. Alternatively you can place the coverart in the folder and name it folder.jpg and MediaPortal will show it.
To make things a bit more easy, let's say you've added D:\MP3 to your Music List.
Go back so you can select that folder, go to Context Menu, and choose option 5 to select cover art.
If you have many albums, this may take some time, but it's well worth it with this skin. Looks awesome once done.
There are a number of other programs that will attempt to go through and grab the coverart unattended for you. I really don't know what's good and what's not though.
