Hey guys,

scrolling text is not displayed properly inside MyTVSeries. See the attached video-clip for details. What could cause this / how can I fix this ?

Confirmed i also have this problem. Think it has something to do with overlayed graphics?

level20peon: I see you're using S-Video. What resolution are you using? If you're using 1024x768 (a 4:3 resolution) and letting the GUI calibration stretch the skin, that might be the reason for this. How about you lampie, are you using S-Video as well?

I am using 1024x768 but I don't stretch the skin but cut the picture via zoom function of my TV (upper und lower part of the picture is cut). I hope you get what I say .
By the way there are plenty scrolling text elements inside MediaPortal but this is the ONLY part where this error occurs.

Hello Harley,

first of all I want to say you did a great skin which makes mp look much nicer than other mediacenter programs

The only problem is that I (and a bunch of other people too i guess ) only own a 4:3 screen, so could you give an update on when or if there will be a 4:3 version of Xface?

My guess is that Harley wont do it at all. He has enough work to do with MP2 design and testing.


I might be wrong, but I don't think he will spend all that time redoing this skin for a dying format (4:3), when he has so much to do with MP2.


mbuzina: It will be easier for many users if you just attach your .xml, so people who use xface can just dl it and put it in the skin folder. Most people have no idea where to put that code

WOW WOW WOW this is the best skin to date, im a new user of MP and i'm still in the config stages of use but im having a 'slight' problem with mytvseries plugin...

When entering the mytvseries plugin i get a list of banners specific for that particular tv show/s now when i enter onto one of them i then get a list of all the series for that show and also a little picture of the dvd cover art for witch ever i've highlighted the dvd cover art then jumps up and covers the about half height of the banner....how can i get around this little bug?

When using MP in windowed mode i don't get this problem and as yet i've not tried it in full screen mode so don't know what results i will get doing this. I shall, when im in from work try fullscreen mode and report back. Please let me know if you require screen shots.

Replacement images for Mesfilms on home screen?

Hello,

I used the nice looking images for my home screen for the my tv series png's:

hover_mp-tv series
buttonNF_mp-tv series
button_mp-tv series


Does anyone have any replacement for these PNG's for MesFilm (My Films) plugin?
I have attached what I see now - the Plugin fillers for empty button images..

I am using the replacement hover PNG from a different plugin.
