Can you supply us with some more information, maybe a web-link ?

If the remote is easy to support I'll look at adding support for it, but I'd need more information about it as I don't own one.

    Cheers,

scancode - keyboard scancode when pressed
mapped key - what I had the button mapped to in autohotkey.

    hi again,

just wanted to say thanks for all your help in this issue, and autohotkeys is a good tool but the best one is HIP to work with this remote, it learns all comands given by the remote and then i reassign them to the MP keyboard shortcuts.

ps. just one more thing...the remote haves a power button and it shutdowns the pc, how can i configure that so it tells the computer to suspend?

I dont think you can, or I was never able to do so at least. From the research I did back when I had the remote, the power button actually sends a keyboard command that is specifically designed to send a shutdown request to the OS.

Even when I tried to remap the button with programs like AHK, it would still send the original command and the new command I had it mapped to. Part of the reason I gave up and got a new remote. :D

If you can get it remapped, then more power to you!
