As per subject. A UHD channel has started in NZ for the first time and my tuner can't tune it for some reason, so just checking TV Server is capable of 4K streams.

I updated MP from 1.30 to 1.31 and noticed some volume differences through my AVR and went investigating. IN MP Config, loading the MP Audio Renderer configuration, I get the message "This filter has no property page" twice. I know I set some options in the past. Anyone know what's the deal?

I have a similar issue occasionally with MP and a Marantz NR1711 AVR. When MP is not playing video, the AVR status shows the audio source as "Multi Channel PCM In" or similar. When starting a video it should change to Dolby Surround or whatever audio format the video contains. I find that...

I realize this is an old thread but my query is regarding the automatic refresh rate changer. This is working well for me on Windows 10, except for a minor issue with videos at 23.976. Every time I start a video at this frame rate, MediaPortal thinks it needs to change the monitor refresh rate...

The checkbox mentioned is unchecked. I found a solution. I had selected the AV HDMI device as the audio renderer in the MP Config. I switched to DirectSound and the issue disappeared, along with a problem with DTS passthrough. Some issue with WASAPI apparently.

I've been using MP for many years in the living room with a big screen TV, and a 5.1 powered speaker system via analog audio outputs. It's worked ok but the sound quality wasn't the best. We just purchased a AV receiver and and new speakers, with MP output connected to the receiver via HDMI...

I got around the issue by merging the mp4 and srt into a MKV, but will investigate when I get time.

Using MP 1.26 with LAV. I'm sure this used to work but doesn't any longer. I have a .mp4 video with a .srt in the same folder with the same name, but no subtitles are available in the popup menu while playing the video. I also tried a Subs folder. Why doesn't this work now?

No issues here watching any of those channels in Tauranga via Te Aroha. I haven't rescanned DVB-T channels for several months.

OK, I managed to get a test in this morning while recording with an XMLTV Import set to not delete the old programs. No problems occurred and the TV recording finished correctly. So there is a problem with TV Server recording while there is no EPG, or perhaps after a new EPG is imported...

It looks like I forgot to change the Task Scheduler to import at 6:30am. I was sure I had but appears not. It was the last day of the tournament so will try again next week when a new tournament starts.
