So I switched and (of course) it does not work :( How do I scan for DVB-T2-channels? Cleared all channels, did a search fo "All regions" in Germany and I still get no DVB-T2-channel (in HD) only DVB-T1-channels. Any ideas?

Auch keinen Erfolg, 38 Sender, aber kein einziger HD-Sender. Scheint nur auf DVB-T1 zu scannen :(

Right, only 1.16 Pre supports DVB-T2: MediaPortal 1.16.0 Pre Release - MEDIAPORTAL (and 2.1 Pre)

Hier ist es: Power Scheduler (1) - MediaPortal 1 - MediaPortal Wiki Den Expert-Mode aktivieren, dann kann man im Reiter Advanced den Standby-Mode einstellen.

I used pre releases of MP in the past and hat many problems with them. And I wouldn't call Kodi an option ...

Wie sehe ich eigentlich, dass DVB-T2-Sender und nicht DVB-T-Sender gefunden werden? Ohne die Sender die durch den Zusatz "HD" eindeutig sind. Danke, Sarah

I read that madVR requires a GPU with D3D9 / PS3.0 support. How can I check this?

I'm wondering why a new renderer - while the current one is doing fine - is more important than a feature which is prevents all DVB-T2 users here from getting a black screen ... If it is such a huge feature it can still wait for the next release, but DVB-T2 can't. I have never seen 3 months...

Thanks for your answers. I'm answering both of you in one posting. I was told that I only have to stop the tv service of MP1 before installing MP2. I am using client and server on one computer. I do net see the complete categories where I am only one parent category. I can only use back to go...

I know about the Pre Release of 1.16, but I do not like installing pre-releases on productive systems, I did that several times with media portal and always fell flat on my face.
