How does the Timezone flag work? What input is it looking for? I went through the source code and all I saw was "America/New_York." I tried "America/Chicago" but still getting GMT times in the xmltv.xml file.
Edit: Got this figured out. In the XmlTv plugin, you need to select "Apply timezone...
Hey, I got the xmltv tool running and got a the xmltv file, but the XmlTV plugin in Media Portal can't find any programming information in it. When I open the xml file, there is program data in it, but the file looks completely unformatted. So I am working if that is what is causing the problem...
I created a batch file that will run @mrceolla then run mc2xml if anyone wants to use it. Just have the task scheduler run the batch file in highest priority mode.
Edit: Won't let me attached a batch file. Just put the following in a text file and save it as a .bat file:

I know this old, but it fixed the same issue was having in version 1.11 after a hard lockup on my computer. First time this has happened to me in the 9 years I've been running MP.
I think it was mentioned earlier, but I will again. At least in Windows 8 the desired folders are now under...
I've been using Mediaportal since 2009, but just started messing with Moving Pictures. I have a lot of DVDs and Blu-Rays that I have not ripped, and don't plan on ripping, but I would like to load them into the Moving Pictures database. It looks like I can do them one at a time by loading them...

Here is what I got when I viewed the channel:

I am using the digital tuners on the 2250 for ATSC. I just think it is weird that MediaPortal is no longer detecting the proper settings for playback and drops back to a default, only for LiveTV. If I start recording a show and then start watching it MediaPortal detects "720p" and "1080p"...
I have been using my HTPC for 3.5 years now, all with Mediaportal. In January I "upgraded" to Windows 8. After upgrading to Win8 I could never get hardware acceleration to work on my integrated graphics (Radeon 4250). So this last weekend, I installed a new Geforce 610 graphics card and replaced...
Does anyone have a good US grabber file? I have customized the IMDB grabber for myself awhile ago, but IMDB doesn't have all of my channels and doesn't have all the information I would like. So I was wondering if anyone had a working US grabber file that doesn't pull from IMDB?
Thanks
Re: Error Getting Site Overview
Interesting, that is probably what was wrong with mine also, since I had installed xfactor before OnlineVideos, and then I did the reinstall without reinstalling Xfactor.
Re: Error Getting Site Overview
Is your mediaportal installed in the default "\team mediaportal\" folder?
Notice that my log file had the exact same IP address it in when I was having the error, no proxy, etc on my side either.
offbyone - do you have any ideas on the menu issue I am having?
