My first question is, how other user of mediaportal solved their problem with 10 restart or reinstall MP,, ?

i try but nothing solved, live tv crash

the comppkgsup.dll is 4 march 2017. and nothing appear to resolv that.

Hi. I'm not too sure how my problem fixed itself, but I can tell you exactly what I did, in case it helps...

I went into MP configuration & checked the codec settings were all set correctly. Then I did several restarts - at first I was only getting a black screen (windows not loading after splashscreen). After trying restart, reset button, power off-power on, eventually windows started loading properly & immediately started installing windows update (again?) After that, MP started working again.

You could maybe try to remove the last windows update to try & force it to reload?

Also do you see the same errors as I had in Event Viewer? Or perhaps in the MP logs?

it's a nightmare, only one update and nothing work

if a developer find a solution....(of course i know that is not a bug of MP, but a conflict with W10)

but ,with chance if someone find something who help us...

Disabling / Not using Microsoft DTV Codec solved the issue for me.

I'm using MP 1.15

In my case, not using it in MP Config / Codec / TV solved it.

I remember having issues with the merit (order) of codecs years ago (not win 10). If its broken, MS DTV Codec maybe in used even if you dont have it configured. maybe this is your issue. Maybe repair merit codec windows 10 - Google-Suche will help?!

Same problem here. After Win10 updates no live-TV.

Same as Al. Your TV codec configuration is blank... or at least it was when you collected the log files.

unfortunately still problems when tryging to play recorded tv

If you still have problems, check your TV codec setting again, and attach fresh log files.

If you'd like assistance, I suggest you provide log files. Please use the Watchdog tool with option 1 ("report a bug...") to start MP, reproduce the problem, then attach ("upload a file") the resulting zip file.

i try to put LAV filter in every case of codec, restart, always crash in live tv
