well its possible. Afaik frodo did a test with 4 PVR-500 (8 Tuners). If the hard drive is not too fragmentet and only used for recording it should be no big deal.

I am using two pvr 500 in my tv server. There are 3 clients (lan) on the server and everything works fine.
