Hi James,

sorry to say that webepg is not working for me again. Downloaded cvs from today. now i have a webepg.exe and webepg.dll in the mp main directory. nothing more webepg related. webepg runs but no xml created, no logs written, nothing. everything else is in the folder webepg, but this seems all to be from the 0.14 version.
the 0.14 version stopped working,too (exception).

Any ideas?

and in the settings in mp (not configuration) you can now choose programs to get with epg. The channel icons are too big, the layout is somewhat out of order here.

Hi Tomtom,

The WebEPG log is now in mediaportal/log, the tvguide.xml output file is now created in mediaportal/xmltv (where the xmltv.dtd file is).

Hi,

Everything worked fine but today it won't grab anything.

In WebEPG.log i get:

Can somebody direct me to the idiots guide of setting this up, I have no idea what I'm meant to configure to get this up and running and can't find any sort of guide. Am I meant to be psychic?

I just had a look at the main wiki which shows info of the xmltv grabber but frankly as a setup guide is absoloutly useless.

Any help appreciated, thanks

After spending another hour messing around with this I've still got absoloutly no where. Worst thing is I don't even know which bit is going wrong or whether one bit or another isn't working because I've no idea which bit is meant to be doing what at which time. Because nobody has actually thought about building any kind of guide for this.

It may be a very good program but it's useless unless it can be configured.

I love media portal and what it stands for but it's really starting to tee me off that there is no coherent organisation.

Sorry the guide and setup docs did not make it into the new zipped release, as it is a copy of the CVS files and they are not in there. Download an older version 0.1.3 or 0.1.4 there is a pdf guide and a number of text files with instructions.

I will upload them separately.
