I agree, it is very hard to read, I kinda got used to it now as I know whats written there. I am pretty sure you can change the font colour or highlight colour in the XML files. I have know knowledge of where or how though ... sorry!

i kinda got used to it but it's unnecessary. i took a look at the xml file and figured out that the file "mainoverlay.png" is responsible for that. changing that file is not possible /good because it's used in mp very often.
i will create a new overlay and edit the xml and see if that works

well, i'm faster than expected ;-)

4TR-fix (needs to be put into the skin folder ...)

Once you have done that you might want to post your fix (with pre and post screen shots) in the mods section of the Streamed-MP skin forum so others can benifit also it might get added to the next SVN

i've just edited a single line in the common.window.tv :

<texture>mainoverlay.png</texture>

has been changed to my new file

<texture>4TR_MainOverlay.png</texture>

Looks like the 4tR xmls are based on a really really old StreamedMP...? I don't think modifying the background images is the right way to go.

I've updated 4tR's home xml according to StreamedMP 0.7.409, complete with animations and all
Give me a bit more time and I'll try updating the other screens as well.
