I have never used the ViewModeSwitcher it is disabled on my setup. As far as I know if you set up the Display Modes your monitor is capable of in Madvr settings it should upscale or downscale to fill the screen as required.

ViewModeSwitcher detects black bars and changes aspect as required, I have 720*480 TV channels that I like zoomed to 14*9.

I am only installing Madvr on my editing machine as that is the only one that i switch between windowed and fullscreen.

I switched back to EVR and copied MediaPortal x64 from the first post again and then overwrote the MediaPortal x64 folder in C:/Program files.
I played TV in windowed mode and ViewModeSwitcher worked fine, then I went to fullscreen and got black screen plus audio.
I ran Watchdog and got the error shown in the attached screen shot.

I will be leaving soon for the city and will be out for several hours.
