Is it true that the OrigenAE cases have a power led that when you enter standby it turns from blue to red continously shining and not blinking?

    Nice :)
I don't know how they do it, but ok.
How abut the brightness? Is it compareable to normal HIFI components? Or is it much to bright link in most normal PC cases?

The brightness (S16T) is for both modes much lesser as for common PC products and it is not obtrusive.

Thx for the info. I heard that the current OrigenAE cases have some issues with DVD drive installation and the Open/Close button. Can someone confirm?

A samsung DVD and a LG BD drive didn't make any problems in a S16T, but on both drives the front bezel had to be removed (as adviced in the case manual). For these ones this is possible without bigger issues. Perhaps you would like to have a look at my setup:

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/completed-htpc-projects-61/media-beast-39548/

The only known problem occurs if a very big cpu cooler module is installed: The LG BD drive is 2 cm longer than a normal DVD drive (see link above and the comment from a S21T user).

    Regards,
    MyPVR

So, you're power cycling the TV, but not putting the PC to sleep ? In General => Startup/Resume settings, try checking "Ignore Windows resolution/size changes" In Codecs and Render, try selecting the specific audio device rather than "Default DirectSound device" Just ideas, no guarantee this will do anything. If this doesn't work, I...

Most (all?) small PC cases accept only ITX motherboards, which have only one PCI-E slot. So you could install only one PCI-E tuner card. A quad-tuner card would give you four tuners, but if you wanted more tuners you would need to use the TBS eight-tuner card, or use external tuners, either USB tuners (available with single or dual...

Update: Problem solved! The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal. The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason. Consequently, even though the tvguide.xml file appeared to be updated, its content kept being an...
