    Cul8ter,

I am also running 1.1.0.0 RC2. I will check the transport.png later (am at work at the moment). I presume the problem you can not reproduce is for my issue number 2, since I think you 630 fixes thread has a fix for the issue 1 (from what I can see).

I will try to get more detail later after applying all the fixes.

    Hi cul8er

the transparent.png exists in that directory.
    The Basichome.xml I have attached.

    Thank you for your effort.

Can you please check and make sure you have a PNG file in the /thumbs/Skin Fanart directory called transparent.png

I have looked (under application data) for this file and it is not there.

I have replaced all the files as suggested in the fixes thread, and I have to say, the fanart is really quite random for me. With MP1.1 with RSS it is most predictable (generally as described before) but with any of the other layouts I get completely the wrong fanart for the menu item!

    Hi Cul8er,

The "Images" basic home is really nice! Got one issue though, but it may not be skin related at all.
When using "Images" together with RSS feed I sometimes, not always, get heavy stutter both
in the feed and in the images when traversing the menues left-right. Furthermore, after a while
there is then often an out of memory message from windows, I got 4 gigs in the machine so it
seems to be quite a heavy leak. Never seen either the stutter or the leak without RSS, but then
again, I haven't tested very much so I can't say for sure it is related to the RSS.

Thanks again for the nice skin! /Per

    Edit: I'm on RC2 with R630

    Hi Perls,

Thanks for your feedback. Can you please attach mediaportal.log, error.log and fanarthandler.log so that I can investigate (from a time when this error and stutter occurs).

    best regards

Hi... same here. I'm also using Images RSS and stutter is present, much heavier in 630 than it was in 615. I also have that "out of memory" problem, I also used to have it under 615 but thought it was a problem of my configuration so I didn't say anything :)

I also see some trouble with backdrops... it's a bit difficult to describe, it seems like sometimes, during the change between two different backdrops, a third backdrops shows for a few moments. I mean, if I change from TV menu to Games menu, the backdrop changes from one TV series backdrop to a, let's say, Mario backdrop. But for a second, I can see for example a movie backdrop showing during the fade between backdrop change. But maybe it's problem with my config, I'm not sure...

BTW, Windows 7 here, MP 1.1 RC2, Xfactor 630, 2 Gb RAM and lots (8 Gb if I don't recall bad) of virtual memory assigned... and still "out of memory" problems with Images RSS

more transparent category view with R630

    Hi cul8er,
I just installed the new Xfactor skin R630. It was my hope that now the category view in Moving Pictures is a bit more transparent but I got the message "this Skin doesn't support category view". So I installed the file "MovingPicture_1_0_RC2.MPE1" and now the category view is working again but without being a little bit more transparent.

    Do you fix this?

    It's a great skin!
    :D

    Hi olli14,

It should be transparent. Did you delete the cache folder after installing the Moving Picture files?

    best regards

I think Olli14 wants it to be MORE transparent.
If so it's a 'play with photoshop' moment, to get exactly the transparency you desire :)

    Hi,

About the wrong backdrop briefly being displayed. I'm still not able to reproduce it but it may be related to this MP 1.1 RC2 bug (link). But then again, it may not. Still strange that I cannot reproduce this. Are all who have this problem using Windows 7? I can only test on Windows XP and Vista.

    best regards
