I am using the Iconia A500. I found it impossible to stream TV or TV records with the old version. I am testing aMPdroid 1.0alpha at the moment. There the streming works while using an external Player. However I am struggeling a few bugs and chrashes. These are probably due to wrong configs by me.
I just checked my config and the alpha 4 is crashing right with the setup of the client. No clue what is wrong. I even tried a reinstall on the tab. since the app crashes I dont think its something that I could fix.
I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ?
MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
