In my setup at least it doesn't, so I finally supposed it would only work with the Basichome.xml Sambal provided with the Ticker. I guess it will work in the next version of the generator (at least I hope so )

Thnx for this great program to generate the basichome.xml, but i've some problems with it.
First of all, I get only small menu items. For example, TV Series, Movies etc...are just small text. How can I change that?
The second problem for me is which window I have to select for the Music window. So I see directly my music albums.

I fixed the problems, I added an font in font.xml that is the same as font24 and I did find the Music windows (id 501).

Hi, i have a problem. When I generate basichome.xml and start MP the menu I made is showing, but I cant go left or right. can anybody help me?

I was wondering if anyone could be kind enough to upload a new stock basichome.xml with the low menu bar, rss feeds enabled, and perhaps even enabled for the shadows hack.

every time i try the generator i manage an epic fail.

You are right. The MenuGenerator doesn't generate the weather part. The upcomming version will though

You could try the BasicHome.xml i posted with the latest RSS Ticker version.

A new version of the Aeon Wide Menu generator is available for download here.

Changed include:

Added checkbox to optionally render dropshadow for focus item
Added support for RSS Ticker plugin Weather
Added options to control animation


To get the same look as shown in the attached screenshot you'll need the files provided in the attached rar file. It contains the font and graphics definition. Copy Acens.ttf to your windows\fonts folder. All the other files go into you Aeon wide folder. Don't forget to clear your cache!

Hi, this is great, but the Acens font is not so hot when you live in a country using ÅÄÖ characters. Any idea of a replacement font? Thanks for the drop shadow, very nice.

Edit: Never mind, the item I was having issues with is Weather which in swedish is Väder, but with the Weather-overlay, I've just removed it from the basic home. Thanks.
