In my case I even use the internal player and always just get the backdrop and date/time but no MP-TVSeries info at all, after stopping an episode. Does not matter which skin I use, even Blue Wide.

Pressing back to get to the series overview shows MP-TVSeries content again.

This issue is caused by ticking "Use default refresh rate" under General -> Dynamic Refresh Rate in MP Configuration!

Perhaps someone else is able to reproduce it.

For me there's no real need for this option because MediaPortal defaults back to Desktop refresh rate after playing a file (which is the refresh rate I wouldve actually chosen as the default refresh rate).

I don't even have Dynamic Refresh Rate enabled.....I don't think this can fix my problem

I have the same problem. Only installed mediaportal a couple of weeks ago and it worked fine for the first week now everytime i finish watching a show in mpc-hc the listings screen is blank. Only way to get it back is to shutdown mediaportal and restart.
I checked that the dynamic refresh rate is unticked.
It's a great plug-in would be nice to have it working properly.

I changed skins to black glass nova and it has been running fine now for a few days. Will let you know if it changes.

Did anyone manage to find a workaround? It's unbelievably annoying.
Randomly happens no matter the visualization style, external player, skin or refresh rate. It's driving me crazy.

I have the same problem on several skins, using MPC-HC.
Any new solutions?
Maybe it has to do with clicking remote buttons (FF RW) while MPC is playing?
