After watching full episode in ext player all text is gone (1 Viewer)

have same problem with mpc-hc used as external player for a long time

one possible although bit fuzzy solution is to manually mark episode as watched just before you actually watch it. This will prevent plugin from attempt to mark is as watched afterwards it is played in external player what I believe causes the whole problem.
as I wrote its a bit fuzzy but works for me.

1. If you get into another plug-in, such as online videos for example, and play something and then get back to TvSeries, the problem disappears.
2. The problem shows when the rating pop up box pops up (after watching an episode). But this time it disappears as soon as you go up one level.
3. It might be related to refresh/render the window?

Guys, can you please provide some extra information as follows to help us reproduce:

1. What 'view' is active when playing media e.g. 'Unwatched', 'All', 'Recently Added' etc
2. Do you have 'Rate Episode if not Watched' enabled?
3. What external Player do you use?
4. How often does this happen, 50%, 90%, 100% etc.
5. Provide MediaPortal Debug Logs and MP-TVSeries debug logs so we can see what other plugins, skin and settings your using.

Please dont reply unless your using MediaPortal 1.1.0 *Final* and MP-TVSeries 2.6.1.

I will try reproduce with the following:
1. View: All
2. Rate Episode: Enabled
3. MPC with parameters: %filename% /play /fullscreen /close

4. 80%. It looks like it depends if you watch long enough. Maybe if you use the remote buttons during play (FF/REW).
It does not happen if you watch short videos.
5. It happens in all skins including Media Stream & Monochrome.
Other plugins: My Movies, Online Videos.
If I enter online videos and play some videos, sometimes it corrects the problem (the plug in uses it's own player).
Sometimes the problem disappear after I enter some other plugins "deep" enough.

- MPC-HC version
- MediaPortal configuration settings for external player
- any other MediaPortal setting that you changed from default

Also I'm curious to find out why you use MPC-HC as external player.

There is a new MPC-HC version out for a while, v1.4.2499.0 to be exact, which also requires DirectX June 2010 update, so try that please.

And I'm still curious in the reasoning for wanting to use MPC-HC for MediaPortal.

PS: Try: %filename% /play /close /fullscreen as it is the correct way to launch MPC-HC, so that the filename is parsed before parameters, as parsing them afterwards can lead to issues.
