For connect to MP, you need to use ( create) an MP plugins.
Like Atmolight.
MediaPortal -> Atmolight -> Atmowin

for you can be :
MediaPortal ( C#) - > Ambibox plugin (C# -> C++) -> Ambibox software (C++)

i think Atmolight read " C " from DirectX and send it to Atmowin.

Code (repo) not have interface Atmolight --> Atmowin.
I did not find the code that sends the data to Atmowin

Hi @demmax2004 can you help with a problem?

I bought PlayClaw last weekend, but although I had it working with AmbiBox back in Windows 7, I am now on on Windows 8.1 and the 'PlayClaw' option is not resulting in any lights from my desktop. If I change to 'Windows 8' it works just fine. I have checked that PlayClaw is in 'desktop mode' and I have also emailed the PlayClaw support with logs, and they saw it's working fine.

Ambibox 2.1.4 with PlayClaw 5 build 3060

I have also tried with build 3045 (I think?) that installed via AmbiBox setup.

Any ideas?

There is a new 2.1.6 release, which includes a properly managed 'delay' option. Looks to be working well.

hot tip:
If your AmbiBox sometimes hangs during startup (like mine did), uncheck its 'start with windows' checkbox. Place a shortcut in the 'Startup' folder instead and it will always start fine.
