That was my fault, on devices < 2.3 the "external player" checkbox should be deactivate but checked (only external player is allowed. I forgot to check it. Will be fixed.

I installed this preview version and works ok, I can see tv series, movies, use the remote. Since I have 2.2.2 I hope that this tiny detail will be resolved so I can try streaming.

As I continued testing this wonderful plugin I noticed that in the remote section there is a keyboard option. Currently it doesn't seem to do much (or am I missing something?). Is the plan to allow users to use this keyboard instead of MP's virtual keyboard wherever available, to search for content? That would be truly awesome...

Hi,

is it possible to watch live TV? I tried to click on the status entry with the running (timeshifting) program, but the only thing that happens is that I get a small popup with window with "rtsp://validIP:554/stream2.0" that vanishes after 1 or 2 seconds. Long click also shows no streaming option.

However, I can stream recordings without any problems so is it expected that live TV is not possible?

No I'm afraid it gives me an error and sometimes crashes. However, playing with an external player works (it's slow but that's perhaps due to my horrible router)

Which device are you using? 1.0 shouldn't be worse then 0.8.3.

What external player do you find works best? Am using a galaxy tab myself but not sure what player to go with
