You mean playback of the isos on the android device? I don't think there is any android video player out there that can play iso files. You might want to ask for this feature in the gma webservice (so the ISO is converted to a playable stream by the webservice).

Perhaps you should open a side-threath called "wish-list".

Even if I don't reply and discuss all feature request I read through all posts and will then decide what I want to add next. The forum is a really messy place for feature requests so I created a project for aMPdroid on the feature voting system UserEcho -> General forum / aMPdroid .

If you want a new feature, post a new "Idea" to this site. If you like an existing idea, vote it up. Ideas with many votes might (read: MIGHT) get implemented sooner. Try to post ideas seperately (not post ten ideas in one request) and check if the same idea has been already posted before.

Unknown paste id... I think I already know what the problem is though (see https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...cess-webservice-89956/index12.html#post753016) and it should already be fixed.

No mate. I mean getting aMPdroid to launch an ISO for playback on the PC NOT on the phone/ tablet. Currently this doesn't seem to work.

To be more specific, I'm talking about BD rips stored as ISO's which I'm currently playing within MP using the BD Handler plugin. This is from Movies within the Moving Pictures DB. I haven't tried from the native MP video library yet. Also, I haven't tried any DVD ISO's yet. Will check that later. I know that iPimp fails to launch playback of either. Hence the comment.

ATM MP goes to a black screen and hangs. I'll try to get more specific information/logs for you.

Starting playback of DVD folder rips, MKV's and other formats via aMPdroid seems OK.

Edit: Actually, I just checked and DVD ISO's AND folder rips (Video_TS) don't play for me either. AVI's, MKV's, WTV and DVR-MS (all movies stored as individual files basically) play fine.

Keeping this separate from the above post, I'm yet to get TV streaming to work and could use some guidence.

I'm testing with an HTC Desire (Android 2.2 Hurry up HTPC!!) and (as of today) vPlayer 0.9.8.

Whenever I try to stream a channel I get "error playingrtsp://"machine name":554/stream2.0,ResultCode:-7". Somethimes it's "stream2.1"?

I feel I'm missing something obvious but not sure what

Can I provide you with any information that may help isolate the problem? Just let me know.

Nice work

Seems to be working very nicely, although installation is a hazzle at the moment.
Supports quite some nice features, but streaming of iso/music is still missing.

-Remote Bug: When status bar is "Always" on a HTC Hero - then the "home button" overlaps the "down arrow". When removing Status bar, the "Home button" is aligned correctly below the "down arrow".

Feature requests:
-Simplify installer - 4 installers is simply 2-3 too many! Keep it simple....... I'm totally confused with, which installer does what, passwords between services and which .xml to edit!
-Streaming iso/music instead of download.
-Stop/pause/record button on Remote front.
-Support of Moving Pictures
-Wake-on-lan

Will be back later, with more input/bug reporting - seems to have some issues some obvious places - Maybe some of them have already been reported, because I have not had time to read all thread posts.

I experience an issue when I select "Play on PC". The message "Remote Not Connected" appears.
The option 'connect' through Menu don't work for me. Only back to the main screen of aMPdoid and
select "connect" establish a successful connection.

It sounds like you don't have the latest version of aMPdroid installed... If "Connect" doesn't work, WifiRemote probably isn't working/configured properly.
