AW: Re: [Android] aMPdroid 0.8 - Streaming and more

Hello is a search function planned, in the next time ? Because I have 10.000 songs in my Library and it is very difficult to find the song you will be listen. All the others is very good, but the Music Section must be better. It would be great if we can get an Status update, about the features that will came with a new version.
Not yet in development. On what do you want to search (album, title, artist)?[/QUOTE]

I want search on all this, like in IPIMP. And then I would to make a playlist on the phone and send it to the PC. So I dind't have to look on the TV (Tv Off).

I've attempted to do that, but I get an error when I restart the service after changing the user settings: Windows could not start the GmaWebService on Local Computer. Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure.

I'm not sure, but i think you typed in the username directly? Use browse and type it in there, and use the user you log into windows with. I'm not at home atm, so i cant check, but if i remember correctly, the user have to a password for it to work, but as i said not sure about that. When you close the dialog for user, there should come popup a box telling you that the user have been granted the right to logon as a service.

Also, the username must have administrative rights (because self-hosted wcf services require admin rights unfortunately).

It does. It's the only account on my computer.

In case you missed the above post, since it wasn't in your quote:
You're correct that the user must have a password. This was part of my problem, I'd recently removed my password for troubleshooting an unrelated issue. However, I did NOT see any popup dialog box, but the service now successfully starts. It still does NOT allow ampdroid to stream my files. They still show up as 0k files.

Thanks for all your help, by the way. I do hope we can get this resolved.

Please post a log again after you've changed something. I can't guess everything that's happening.

Well, I can implement that quite simply on the service side but you'd have to wait for the aMPdroid implementation (maybe add a feature request if one doesn't already exists).

    Sorry about that

    Code:
    2011-09-20 01:03:15.9603 WARN: ExtractImage: File Z:\Share\TV\Archer (2009)\Archer (2009) - S00E04 - Heart of Archness Part I.mkv doesn't exist or is not accessible
Sorry, did not see that the last time i checked your log. In the beginning it was showing an UNC path.
Nevertheless, since it uses mapped drives it wont work because the service don't have access to the mapped drive (it runs under a different logon session, making it not mapping the drive). Everything needs to be setup using UNC paths, otherwise GMA wan't be able to access it. see this post: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/783855-post321.html.

I actually changed to mapped drives *because* of this problem. I just reindexed everything using UNC and restarted both the service and the app and the problem persists.
